awareness presents
challenge as unawareness
holds strongly to form

/what you dont get/

what you dont get is
how this distance
has hardened
a once malleable spirit

what you dont get is
how your silence
tests patience
and nourishes resentment

what you dont get is
the repercussion
of your abandonment
is permanent

what you dont get is
that the resulting end
of nurturing illusion
is negative consequence

what you dont get is
how utterly relentless
unawareness
plagues your Beingness

what you dont get is
the evolution as this
consciousness
grows in strength

what you dont get is
me

which makes us difficult to
be

Some days I wish this journey wasn't so damn challenging;

And then the angels whisper that this too shall pass.
